The club’s aims and goals include

Provide a range of kayaking activities

Fitness through family sport for parents and children

Friendly polo competitions for men, women’s and mixed teams

Serious polo competitions for men, women’s and mixed teams on a number of occasions during the year

General Skills training (especially white water and polo)

General Safety training

Provide activities for individuals of primary school age through to retirees

Maintain kayaking as an affordable sport for families

Age, sex not be a barrier to participation

Acquire sufficient numbers of quality craft to support younger players

Attract to the kayaking sport as priority group (grades 8-10 young women and potentially their parents)

Increase the inventory of club boats and equipment to support young kayakers

Increase the status of inter-club competitions held at Springfield Lakes

Establish permanent polo goals at Springfield lakes and at other venues

Lobby for development of white water infrastructure in the Brisbane region, (Lowood and other sites)
